- Adobe Issues: Asking you to upgrade or sign in, your only option will be to open entry card from here in the website, fill in, and print, with no future editing capabilities. However, you may still have some navigation issues while filling in. You may type on a piece of paper, cut out and tape on, then copy it onto cardstock. Or simply hand write.
- Future Editing: If you don’t have Adobe issues, for future editing, you must first download, and save to your computer’s hard drive.*
- MAC users (please disregard if you have a newer machine), please avoid adding too many lines and causing text scroll, or it will not print out correctly.
- Strange behavior? As of 4/27, if having fill-in/format issues, please update/download a new entry card version.
- Printing: If possible, print in Color, on Cardstock. Otherwise, print on regular white paper, and we can copy onto card stock at show. You will print the full page, and carefully cut to even borders for your filled out card. When printing, is helps to select “Actual Size” print option on your printer. “Fit to page”, typically a default option, could result in uneven margins between cards.
- Font: if you want for cards, is Palentino
- If issues continue, Please contact Kim Bishop. 206-322-5564 (hm)/206-930-5564 (cell) – keep trying, if needed.
*For proper formatting and future editing, you must first download, and save to your computer’s hard drive!
- On a Mac: Open the link, then under the file menu, select ‘Export as PDF’ and then open from your hard drive. This will be re-saveable and re-editable. Rename, if preferred.
- On a PC: Open the link, then save the file to your hard drive, and reopen. This will be re-saveable and re-editable. Rename, if preferred.
To fill in on your computer: open the entry card and you may see pale highlight areas in the information content areas. You simply place your cursor in each box and either type in the text fields, or click in the check boxes. If you do not see the fill in area, you may need to open in “PDF Reader” on your computer. Once filled in, you can print the form with your information already in it.
To fill in on your IPad or mobile device, you will need to “open in” a PDF application and you will see shaded areas where you can enter your text.
**Classes 27 and 28 Update: No separate “Special Culture and Information Card” required. Instead, please use the “Growing Conditions” space on the Entry Card to include culture information. If more space is needed, please use a 4″x 6″, unlined index card. Please direct questions to the Class Consultant, Suzette de Turenne at sdeturenne@comcast.net
